Nature’s Answer to Botox – the Bee Sting Facial

Allegedly used by Kate Middleton and her step mother-in-law, Camilla, bee sting facials are quickly becoming the new fashionable and natural alternative to Botox for women of all ages.

With scores of A-list celebrity endorsements, from the likes of Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie, along with the reluctance of many women to not have their facial muscles frozen to a point where they are unable to raise their eyebrows without the aid of a mechanical device (an unfortunate side effect if you have a partner and children!),  this alternative facial is creating a buzz all of its own. slider2-2

Firstly, you need to know that no bees are hurt in the process.  In order to harvest the sting venom from the bees, they are encouraged to sting an electrically charged pane of glass. When they do so they leave behind their stings, but unlike in normal environments where if a bee stings it dies, the sting is harvested without any harm coming to the bees.

The venom is extracted from the sting, then dried and purified.  It is then mixed into specially formulated serums and moisturisers for the beauty industry.

Not only does the venom from the bee sting stimulate the production of collagen to make your skin feel younger looker and tighter it also works into the muscle tissue to relax it, leaving the skin less wrinkled, but not unable to move as with Botox treatment.

After just one treatment most women will see an improvement in their skin tone, their face will feel fresher, tighter and rejuvenated with a noticeable reduction in puffiness and tired looking skin.  After a few sessions most women report a considerable improvement in fine lines and wrinkles.

The venom works by tricking the skin into thinking it has actually been stung by bees, but without the pain usually associated with a sting.  Blood flow to the area will increase along with elasticity and collagen production.  The bee sting facial products also contain soothing Manuka Honey which helps with healing and leaves skin super soft.

Far from feeling any pain, women usually find a bee sting facial extremely pleasant and relaxing with some reporting a small amount of gentle tingling on certain areas of the face, as the bee sting venom sets about giving them glowing skin.

Love U Salon offers bee sting facials for £65 or a course of 5 for £290.
